Westgate Kids Church

Westgate Kids Church meets Sunday mornings at 9 and 11:15 for grades 3 through 6.  We focus on four main areas of our spiritual walk: Salvation as a Relationship with Jesus, The Bible, Prayer, and The Church and Community.  We spend an entire year on each topic so that the kids have a thorough grounding in each area as they move from Kids Ministries to Youth Ministry.  In addition to the biblical content, Kids Church is oriented around a specific theme.  The kids may spend one year in a courtroom and the next year on a movie set.  This year, the Westgate Kids Church has been converted to a Sports Show called “Get in the Game”. Each week we will focus on “The purpose of the church.”

The kids have been challenged this to memorize and quote verses from the Bible on “The purpose of the church.”  The verses the kids have been challenged with now are 1 John 4:11-12, 1 Corinthians 12:4-6, & Ephesians 4:11-13
