Nursery

Sundays 9 AM & 11:15 AM/ Tuesday & Thursday Evenings
Sunday Mornings: Birth-2 years
Weekdays: Birth-3 years

We want children to take delight in coming to the nursery. We offer them a safe, secure, attentive atmosphere that is enjoyable. Our nursery is divided into two areas based on age and abilities, in order to best meet the needs of each child! We believe every child no matter what age is able to receive and learn, so our nursery classes include curriculum-based teaching and worship for infants and toddlers.

Well Baby Nursery
Children with flu symptoms, green runny nose, coughing, wheezing, fever, vomiting, rash or diarrhea within the last 24 hours are asked to not attend nursery until they have been symptom free, or have been taking prescribed antibiotics for at least 48 hours.
We also ask that every mobile child either washes hands or uses the provided hand sanitizer before entering the nursery.

Cleaning Policies
The nursery is cleaned on a regular basis. This includes toys, changing pads, furniture, fabrics, crib sheets and carpets. Germ killing air purifiers are used in both nurseries.

Our Staff
We take the safety of your children seriously.  All our workers have completed a children’s worker application that has been reviewed by the Nursery Coordinator and Children’s Pastor.  Staff trained in First Aid and CPR are always present.
We welcome parents and others who are willing to volunteer occasionally to love and play with the little ones!
If you are interested in either a paid or volunteer position in the nursery, please contact Hally Thorp at the Church Office to obtain a children’s worker application.


Preschool

Ages 2 1/2 – Kindergarten
Sundays 9 AM & 11:15 AM

Our interactive classes cater to the active lifestyle of preschoolers.  We know that some children learn best when they see an object or a picture.  Others learn better by listening to a story, or are able to touch something or move around.  Creative lessons, fun and active crafts, energetic worship and tons of love go into making sure the wonderful stories of the Bible come alive for this group of eager learners.  Preschoolers learn that God loves them through planned Bible-learning activity centers.

 

Rainbows

Ages 3 – 5
Thursdays 7 pm

Preschoolers ages 3 to 5 get together in Rainbows Club on Thursday nights for a fun time of Bible stories, crafts, singing, and activities.  We start the beginning of the year with lessons on Creation and move through the major stories of the Old Testament by Christmas.  We then teach New Testament stories about Jesus’ life through Easter and wrap up the year with parables of Jesus and stories about the apostles.  Lessons are taught with as many hands-on features as possible to make the Bible come alive for the preschoolers!
