Spiritual Formation
Several of the inmates have asked for material that will deepen their walk, so Pastor Ron has given some New Heart Place material  along with some other material. I sent a copy of the New Heart material to one inmate and am awaiting his response. Our hope is that we will be able to share the material with as many inmates as we can.

Freedom Ministries Mission
We have a tremendous opportunity to touch shattered lives by sharing the only way for peace and healing: Jesus Christ, our Savior. Freedom Ministries, Westgate’s Jail Ministry, offers opportunities for worship, testimonies, and sharing of God’s Word to inmates. Visiting and bringing in Christ’s love to the jails & prisons of Snohomish and King Counties

Pen Pal Outreach
Corresponding with a prisoner through mail

Aftercare Ministry
Helping to meet needs of the released prisoner through Westgate Chapel’s food  & clothing bank, community resources & transition ministry

Prayer-Mentor Discipleship Teams
Meeting one-on-one with the released to disciple them in the Christian life

Intercessory Prayer Teams
Praying for the incarcerated, those released and those in Freedom Ministries

To The Incarcerated
We are fellow travelers with you on this journey of life. We want you to know that we care about you, pray for you and are ready to walk together with you as you leave the past behind. Westgate Chapel’s Freedom Ministry is here to help you prepare for your release from prison.  Please allow us the opportunity to help you with your new freedom. Take part in our Sunday services, Monday night support groups, Tuesday Dinner and Prayer meeting, and Thursday Food and Clothing Bank & Dinner. Get paired up with a fellow believer in Jesus and allow us to mentor you as you walk the Christian life.
