Salt & Light

Salt & Light Ministries exists to help Westgate Chapel believers be more effective agents of salt and light in our areas of influence as we seek the Lord for a revival of Biblical righteousness. We desire to help Christians understand their civic responsibilities and the moral issues of the day so they will be equipped to positively influence the culture. Our strategy is to be watchmen on the walls, intercessors, and equippers of the saints.  The Salt & Light Ministries Team, led by Lori Granberg, reports to Regional Missions under Pastor Ron Brooks.

Issues Updates
Salt & Light publishes a weekly summary of news items related to our Biblical values. These updates are published for Westgate Chapel pastors and staff, but are available to other concerned Christians for prayer and action. You can sign up to get these updates by e-mail, or you can pick up a copy in the Prayer Room each week. To subscribe, send an e-mail to:  salt-and-light@comcast.net.

Voter Information
Salt & Light provides the Westgate congregation with voter registration opportunities. Voters may be required to re-register if they’ve moved, had a name change, recently became a citizen or turned 18. During elections, we provide voter information guides published by organizations that share our Biblical values.

Civic & Cultural Engagement
Salt & Light seeks to educate and inspire the Westgate congregation for Christian civic and cultural involvement and become knowledgeable about our nation’s Christian heritage.  We also support other Westgate activities, such as The National Day of Prayer and Sound The Alarm.
