We serve all residents from Washington State. Our heart is to serve the community in several ways.

Food Bank

Westgate Chapel is here to serve everyone who comes to us for help. The food we distribute is donated by Food Lifeline, United States Federal Commodities Program (TEFAP), Washington State and Local Food Purchasing programs. Westgate Chapel Emergency Services is wholly funded by donations from the Westgate Chapel family and the greater Edmonds area. We also purchase food when donations are not sufficient. We are a member of the Snohomish County Food Coalition which is made up of nineteen food pantries in our county. Our agency is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.

Clothing Bank

Open during the same hours as the Food Bank, the Clothing Bank offers community clients a selection of new and gently used clothing and selected household items. In addition to food, clothing, and household items are donated by the Westgate Chapel congregation and the greater Edmonds community. Clothing is free of charge, but recipients must register in the Food Bank for this service.

Financial Assistance

In addition to Food and Clothing, we also provide limited financial assistance (as funds are available), to aid in preventing eviction (14 day pay or vacate required) as well as shut off for a utility.
You can also apply for either a gasoline card or community transit tickets for appointments or job searches. You may apply for a grocery card for specialized items that are not available in the food bank. Limited to one gas card or one grocery card in a twelve-month period.
